ALT - Dr. Pauline M. Alt Building

2020 physical therapy lab alt

The Pauline M. Alt building (ALT) is the home to a wide-range of academic labs, including our Human Gross Anatomy Lab. Peek into a classroom and you’ll see your fellow students putting their healthcare skills to work using practice tools and real people. Don’t be surprised to run into a troop of adorable toddlers, either! They’re here to help our healthcare students put their pediatric skills to work.

Outside of class, the basement of ALT is home to Maggie’s Café. Grab a coffee, some lunch, or a snack and huddle up with your study buddies.

You’ll also find lecture halls, classrooms, faculty offices, and the Center for Global Education, which houses all of our international student resources to support our nationally-diverse population.

On the fifth floor, you’ll find the offices for the Patricia H. Garman School of Nursing. In 1942, D’Youville established the region’s first baccalaureate degree in nursing and ever since we’ve been a leader in nursing education. It’s the faculty and staff in these offices that keep that reputation for success going.
