SASE - School of Arts, Sciences and Education

SASE external 19

The Dr. Charles and Mary Schweitzer Bauer School of Arts, Science and Education (SASE) building is the home to 19 labs, 9 state-of-the-art smart classrooms, faculty offices, and the primary home to a number of our academic programs.

The 85,000 square foot building was built in 2015 and it is a combination of new, modern spaces and the classic architecture of the former Letchworth family mansion, which was built in 1890.

Throughout the building you’ll find smartly crafted nooks and spaces designed for studying alone and in groups, and on the second floor you’ll discover one of our most popular study spaces in the atrium with bright, sunny views of the neighborhood and easily configurable furniture to accompany any size study group.

On the first floor is Saint’s Café, where you can grab lunch, a coffee, or a healthy snack to keep you going, and with outdoor seating on both sides of the building, it’s a perfect spot to study on a nice day, too.
