Max B. Swisher Skyhaven Airport (APT)
Located three miles northwest of Warrensburg, the Max B. Swisher Skyhaven Airport is the only university-owned airport in Missouri and serves as the training facility for UCM’s nationally recognized Aviation programs. It features a fleet of student-manned aircraft – ranging from the Cessna 172 Skyhawk to the high-performance Beechcraft B58 Baron – state-of-the-art equipment including Redbird simulators and a 737 simulator, and even a hot air balloon. The airport was donated to the university in 1966 by Max and Lorena Swisher.
