The Public Square

Do you need a Starbucks espresso or a smoothie, or a Subway sandwich? Or do you need a quiet place to study?  A place to play video games?

The Public Square, Molloy’s fantastic student center, has all of this and much, much more. This beautifully designed building opened in 2011 and is home to a variety of clubs and organizations, student services, music practice rooms and classrooms, to name a few of the many offerings.

The bookstore is located on the ground floor, which is also where you can find the café, a coffee/juice bar and an ATM machine. The Information Commons area, located on the second floor, provides students with the opportunity to access multiple computers, printers and scanners. Student Affairs has its home in the Public Square, as does Student Government. There are also study areas for both individuals and groups, featuring beautiful views of our campus.

Ready to plan your semester abroad or a spring break global trip? Stop by the office of International Education and learn more about the dozens of countries that Molloy students have visited in recent years and upcoming trips for the semester. If you are looking for a job or an internship, or need some advice on choosing your career or perfecting your resume, you can visit Career Services. And our Lions Lounge – which includes an 80” LCD TV and four 55” LCD TVs – is the perfect place to play video games or watch a sporting event. For those preferring a quieter place, make sure you visit our beautiful new art gallery.
