Stacks Visual Arts Center

Nestled between Copenhaver Center's north wing and Founders Hall is the Clyde Stacks Visual Arts Center. The facility honors former MHS art teacher Clyde Stacks, who spent 43 years designing interdisciplinary course work that blended art with science and math. Here, students participate in visual arts programs including multimedia painting, pottery, and photography.

The building also features a second story art museum, where visiting art exhibits are hosted to expose students to professional contemporary and historical art. A display case and wall for exhibiting student art extends the full length of the building.
